Chard seedlings emerge free of fear!
It's been really cold out - we need to let the plants regenerate! Hope to see you at the next market in 2 weeks.
Here's a great video from our friends at The Land Connection. They have helped Crystal and me from the beginning and we owe them many thanks!
Hello Portage Park Farmer's Market friends! We are looking forward to bringing our fresh veggies to this market on Sunday! We have a lot to offer, including 3 types of Kale, Swiss Chard, Green Onions, Sweet Onions, 3 types of Potatoes, Spinach, Lettuce, Hakurei Salad Turnips, Popcorn, Carrots, 2 types of Cabbage, Daikon Radish, Kohlrabi, and Arugula. Enjoy Illinois organic produce for your holidays!
A market customer (hi Julie!) convinced me to share this. Aya clearly makes a better marketeer than me and has no troubles working the camera. I was particularly proud of her "arugula" pronunciation. I can't wait until she can accompany me at the farmers' markets :)
The Division Street market has been extended for one week to Nov. 1. Woo hoo!
We have one weekend left of farmers' markets! If you're panicked about what to do when the markets are closed, we are now opening our "Late-season" Ordering Program. Last year we provided fresh vegetables all Fall and Winter long. See http://grayfarmsproduce.com/winter-ordering-1/ for more information!
We are excited to announce that CSA Registration for the 2015 growing season is now open! Visit http://grayfarmsproduce.com/csa-signup/ for more information!
